9.25.17 - Catskills casino nears completion ahead of March opening
"Construction of the state’s fourth non-tribal commercial casino was 73 percent complete by the end of August, the Gaming Commission disclosed today at its monthly meeting."
"The sprawling facility, now named Resorts World Catskills, is scheduled to open in the village of Monticello in March, a little over a year after del Lago Resort & Casino in the Finger Lakes and Schenectady’s Rivers Casino & Resort opened. A third casino, Tioga Downs, expanded from a Southern Tier racino to a full Vegas-style casino last December."
