'The University at Albany is one of the most diverse universities in the country. It topped a recent Education Trust list for enrolling Black students in representative numbers — 16% of New York’s residents are Black and 17% of UAlbany’s students identify as such. Part of the reason: The university’s inclusive culture, which has made significant progress since chief diversity officer Tamra Minor joined UAlbany in 2007.
