8.23.21 - MSG Entertainment Says Covid-19 Vaccine Mandates Are Helping Indoor Events

'Madison Square Garden Entertainment shares rose more than 16% on Monday as the live-events company said it is benefiting from New York City's vaccine mandates for indoor events.'
'Sports games and concerts have drawn nearly full houses with mostly vaccinated audiences, prompting the entertainment company to add staff in anticipation of a busy year, the company said Monday. President Andrew Lustgarten said he sees wider adoption of vaccination policies helping boost its live-events business.'
'"While we're mindful of what's happening with the Delta variant, including the cancellation of certain shows around the country, we think that vaccination policies that are increasingly being adopted by cities, including New York as well as companies in our industry, will be helpful, " Mr. Lustgarten said on a call to discuss the company's fiscal fourth quarter results.'
