8.22.21 - The Cuomo record 4: He built an impressive infrastructure legacy across the state
Today, thanks mostly to one man, Andrew Cuomo, LaGuardia is not an embarrassing punchline for a vice president then bemoaning America’s failing infrastructure, but a functional and efficient and beautiful modern airport (and only marred by a silly planned AirTrain that his successor should scrap).
That achievement is Cuomo’s proud legacy as he departs office Monday after 10-1/2 years of building, building, building.
