8.04.15 - Former KGB agent Jack Barsky gone from the NYISO

"Jack Barsky, the IT specialist for the New York Independent System Operator in North Greenbush who admitted on “60 Minutes” that he had been a KGB spy for the Soviet Union, has left the organization, which oversees the state’s high-voltage electrical grid. The NYISO announced Tuesday that it had hired Douglas Chapman as its chief information officer to lead its IT department. The NYISO told Syracuse.com back in June that Barsky had left the NYISO. The Times Union is awaiting re-confirmation of that from a NYISO spokesman."
