3.12.21 - State pop-up site delivers COVID vaccines at Monticello Raceway

'More than 200 people were expected to get a first round of COVID-19 shots on Friday at the Monticello Raceway, courtesy of one of the 14 pop-up community vaccination sites set up by the state this week.'

'The state chose the raceway as a site after its operator, Resorts World Catskills, offered assistance with the vaccination efforts. Medical staff from Garnet Health Doctors and Garnet Health Medical Center-Catskills were administering the shots to people, primarily locals, who had already signed up on the state registry and were identified for shots at the site by the state, according to Garnet. More than 200 people were scheduled to get shots at the Monticello site between 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on Friday.'
