2.25.21 - Bristol Myers Squibb donates $11 million to equity programs

'Bristol Myers Squibb, a global biopharmaceutical company headquartered in Kips Bay, is donating $11 million to the cause of advancing health equity in the U.S., it announced Wednesday. The funds will be provided to 56 nonprofit agencies with an aim to improve health care education and access in ethnically diverse and medically underserved communities.'

'"We understand that the need has never been more urgent, and we have made it a priority to focus our capabilities and resources to eliminate the barriers to accessing high-quality care that exist for underserved and vulnerable populations," said Adam Lenkowsky, senior vice president and general manager at Bristol Myers Squibb.'
