'An upstate duck farm is calling on Gov. Cuomo to join them in their fight against the city’s foie gras ban.'
'As city lawmakers and animal advocates hosted a “Foie GONE Victory Party” in the East Village Thursday, the president of La Belle Farm in Sullivan County issued a letter asking the governor to enter the fray.'
'“To put it bluntly, this new law deals a fatal blow to the duck farmers of New York State. Today, we are writing to you, seeking your help in seeing this New York City ban overturned,” Sergio Saravia wrote.'
