WGI is featured in the Robert DeNiro helmed “I Love NY” ad entitled “The Ultimate Roadtrip.”

WGI was featured on Governor Cuomo’s weekly update video for July 3, 2014 entitled “Bending the Curve.” The Governor kicked off New York State’s Summer Tourism Season at Watkins Glen International, where he also launched the “I Love NY” tourism app. (WGI appears around the 1:22 mark).

WGI is featured in the Robert DeNiro helmed “I Love NY” ad entitled “The Ultimate Roadtrip.”

WGI is also featured in the Michael Strahan helmed “I Love NY” ad, about Strahan’s love of the outdoors.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. to meet with fans at Watkins Glen International

NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. will participate an a question-and-answer session with fans attending the Cheez-It 355 at The Glen, Watkins Glen International announced Wednesday.

The event is scheduled take place Aug. 10, the day of the Sprint Cup race, at the Turn 1 Tavern. The starting time has not yet been determined, the track reported.

Only those who purchase a Turn 1 Tavern hospitality admission ticket will be allowed to attend. Facility gate admission is not included with the Turn 1 Tavern hospitality, which is available for $75 per person at TheGlen.com.

Turn 1 Tavern ticket holders will receive complimentary buffet lunches on Aug. 9 and 10. And they will have covered track-side viewing for the weekend’s races.

Earnhardt drives the No. 88 National Guard Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports. He’s currently second in the NASCAR Sprint Cup points race with 658, just 12 behind leader and Hendrick teammate Jeff Gordon.

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series weekend at Watkins Glen takes place Aug. 8 through 10.

The K&N Pro Series East Bully Hill Vineyards 125 is the first race of the weekend, starting at 6:15 p.m. Aug. 8. The Nationwide Series Zippo 200 gets the green flag at 2:15 p.m. Aug. 9.

The featured race, the Sprint Cup Cheez-It 355 at The Glen, is set to start at 1 p.m. Aug. 10. Tickets are available by calling (866) 461-RACE and online at TheGlen.com.
